Brownies In A Cone

Ingredients :
  • 1 pkg. fudge brownie mix (13 x 9 inch pan size)
  • 17 ice cream cake cones (about 2 3/4 inches tall)
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp shortening
  • Colored sprinkles

Preparations Method :
  • Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions, using 3 eggs.
  • Place the ice cream cones in muffins cups.
  • Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the batter into each of the cones.
  • Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and the top is dry.
  • Do Not Overbake.
  • Cool completely.
  • In a microwave, melt the chocolate chips and the shortening.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Dip the tops of the brownies in the melted chocolate.
  • Allow the excess to drip off.
  • Decorate with the sprinkles.

Makes 17 brownies
