Bittersweet Chocolate Hazelnut Brownies

Ingredients :
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 (1 oz.) squares bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts

Preparations Method :
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease an 8-inch square pan.
  • In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Cool for 5 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate mixture and sugar.
  • Stir well.
  • Stir in the eggs, vanilla, flour, and hazelnuts.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
  • Cut into 2-inch squares.

Makes 32 brownies
