Junior Mint Brownies

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (3 oz.) box Junior Mints, chopped

Preparations Method :
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  • Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa, flour, baking powder, and the salt.
  • Stir well.
  • Add the butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Stir well.
  • Add the chopped mints.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake until set, about 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Do Not Overbake.
  • Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Cut into squares.

Makes 16 brownies
